What is Mesotherapy? Mesotherapy is a cosmetic treatment that uses a series of small injections of FDA approved medications into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin), where the fat deposits reside. It was developed by Dr. Michel Pistor in France in 1952. In the past 50 years the technique has been used by thousands of physicians world-wide for Spot Weight Reduction, Body Sculpting, Cellulite Reduction, and Face and Neck Rejuvenation. It a natural alternative to invasive cosmetic surgery.
Is it painful? Mesotherapy uses microinjections and is relatively painless, so there is no need for general anesthesia or recovery time. Doctor may prescribe a topical anesthetic to make the experience more comfortable. One can resume normal activities immediately after treatment.
Are there side effects? Side effects are generally limited to mild bruising and swelling at the site. This usually fades within a week.
How it Works:
The formula injected consists of natural extracts, homeopathic agents, pharmaceuticals, and vitamins. This formula prevents cells in the area from storing fat, dissolves excess fat deposits, which are then flushed from the body. A different formula is used for cellulite reduction, and another for skin rejuvenation. The number of sessions required varies according to the area treated, the results desired, and the individual.
How long do the results last?
Mesotherapy is not a weight loss plan. However, as long as the patient continues a proper nutrition and exercise regimen, the results should last. A touch-up may be needed, every four to eight months. This will depend on the problem being treated.

Types of Mesotherapy
MesoCellulite:
Mesotherapy injections help eliminate cellulite by improving circulation, strengthening connective tissue, and dissolving excess fat.
MesoSculpt or Lipodissolve:
A targeting of localized areas of fat such as the abdomen, thighs, back, bra line, fat pads under the eyes, neck. It works by targeting the receptors on fat cells, blocking the alpha receptors that produce fat, and stimulating the beta receptors that breakdown fat.
Mesolift and Mesoglow:
Mesotherapy is a safe alternative to invasive cosmetic surgery for aging skin. The vitamins, minerals, and amino acids are injected right into the skin to promote the production of collagen and elastin, and to stimulate the metabolism, nourishing and rejuvenating the skin. As we age, our circulation decreases. This results in less oxygen and nutrients reaching the skin, keeping it nourished. Mesotherapy counteracts this aging process, and produces radiant, glowing skin once again.
